ARCADE ATTENDANT

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Notify Game Techs of any machine errors and return game play credit to guests. 
  • An Arcade Attendant is responsible for greeting quest, facilitating arcade attractions and exceeding guest service expectations while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere.
  • Assisting guests with card points and redeeming arcade points as well as removing obstructions on arcade machines and ensuring appropriate guest conduct.
  • All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Fun Zonez high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.
  • Greet and responds to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Assists guests with change, point redemption, and all courtesy transactions throughout the arcade.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor troubleshooting of equipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Explains operation of games to Guests.
  • Ensure the daily operation of the attraction adheres to operating procedure guidelines.
  • Assist in merchandising functions including display and store design, inventory receiving, stocking, and merchandise pricing.
  • Perform cash-handling functions, including point-of-sale (POS) system, registers, and daily reporting.
  • Ensure arcade area adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
  • Assist in other retail outlets as needed Basic.
  • Actively look for ways to help and interact with guests.
  • Pay attention to detail, focuses on Guest and understands basic game and simulator operations.
  • Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assist with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Work as a team player in meeting guests needs and assisting other departments.
  • Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Games policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to proper uniform guidelines.
  • Display excellent communication skills.
  • Show eagerness to learn new skills.

Qualification & Skills:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.
  • Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract multiply and divide.
  • Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures. 
  • Successful completion of a criminal background and drug screen.

Desired Qualifications & Traits:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction.
  • Previous experience with cash transactions and Point of sale systems.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Performs functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 50lbs.
  • Walk or stand for long periods of time.
  • Work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • The environment includes bright, dim of flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Ability to use a point of sale system and other electronic equipment as needed.
  • Maintains safety standards at all times.
  • Pleasant and social able personality.
